i need to ask redhorse permission to use his drawing of the USS Deleware he made.

If memory serves he's on deployment is Iraq or A-stan right now, so that might be tricky.

just dont want to be direspectful to the artist. i want to modify the ship to reflect a replacement of the cage mast to tripod mast that

You could try sending him a pm? Otherwise, it is usually ok so long as you credit him as the main artist.
