USS Midway

#1 Post by sb111385 »

My first post on Shipbucket. Not my first drawing... more of a redo/kitbash. I had tried to find and trace certain images for the Midway but cant find anything that is good quality.

You have 5/38s when you need 5/54s

Also, feel free to post this in either Beginner's Forum or Real Ships

Moved to beginners, as it does appear to be Shipbucket compliant. You have taken on a really ambitious project for a first submission, so good luck :)

A Fantastic "first post"
But your drawing have many mistakes, many "scale-mistakes", some errors
Looking forward to see more work on this drawing ;)

If wikipedia is to be believed, then it's 97 ft too long.

Yea thats why i posted it here because i didnt like the way it looked on a smaller scale. I looked through all of those pictures on the websites that were suggested and for me.. How i seen those pictures there really isnt much I could do to the drawing. I know there are corrections I could make but I wouldnt know where to begin. Ive been doing kitbashes and "what ifs" for well over a year now but ive never done anything to shipbucket style or posted anything anywhere other than photobucket. Im not really knowledgable with the ships systems but moreso the history of the ships themselfs so I think that also hinders me.

HNSA is always a good place to start.
