Sailing ships
This is a topic for Sailing ships
I was trying to finish the USS Constitution, somehow I made this:
I swear I will try to finish the sail plan of Old ironside.... next time.

Now that's a cutie! And think that the Dutch had over 10,000 of those during their 'Gouden Eeuw'! Well done, DP! The rigging is absolutely superb! I may have you do my Swedish 'Svärdet' and the Danish 'Christianus Quintus' from the same era! You'd probably excel!

Ah, a real sailing ship, and beautifully rendered by your sublime pixelation - well done
Re: Sailing ships
Awesome work on those details, I wish I could say something more meaningful

Well the Bucket needs more sailing ships...
The "Bremen Cog" is the wreck of a 1380 Cog discovered during construction works in the river Weser in 1962. The search for her parts lasted till 1965. Some 2000 pieces were eventually recovered. It was possible to reconstruct large portions of her hull. Then she underwent a 18 year long preservation procedure. She's now on display in the "Deutsche Schiffahrtsmuseum" in Bremerhaven. There were three replicas built on her lines.
