Convergent evolution then. I basically combined the refit of Nagato with a Yamato/Mogami funnel design. Pretty obvious way to go so no surprise that others went the same route. I love how the new US battleships incorporate the massive reconstructions in their models. Hopefully they'll go back and do the same with the Japanese ships.

They're redoing some of the models, which I suggested after I was invited to join in the contribution.

Excellent! Can't run it on my PC and can't afford to upgrade but I love watching the livestreams on Twitch.

Wish they'd include the super-Yamato in that game. I'm going to wait until some other countries have been released before I purchase it.

Actually it's free to play, once it comes out.

Nothing that goes above 80,000 tons or 18.1" guns will be in the game.emperor_andreas wrote:Wish they'd include the super-Yamato in that game.

Yeah super-Yamato. I would call it a Super-Yamato, all it is, is an up-gunned Yamato. But if you add Super-Yamato in to the game, then you have to add the 18" variant of the Iowa (as an military historian said: "If the Japanese was nasty, Iowa could get 18" guns"Sumeragi wrote:Nothing that goes above 80,000 tons or 18.1" guns will be in the game.emperor_andreas wrote:Wish they'd include the super-Yamato in that game.

yeah but it have an big disadvantage. those super heavy shells Iowa used had similar effect to Japanese 18" guns. And when you have the Montana in the game with it four triple 16" guns....emperor_andreas wrote:Ooh, an 18-inch-gun Iowa...me likey!
the difference between Yamato 18" and super Yamato 20" class is three turrets with either triple 18" or twin 20". The re-load time in the game would be so weird, that Normal Yamat would be able to fire all it guns 3-4 times before super Yamato could re-load and fire all it's guns at once.
