Beautiful work on the Aussie destroyers. But it looks like poor old Tasmania is forgotten again. :(

Thanks all, as Radome did point out, Tasmania was done and will be uploaded to Dropbox when I get home.

There's no such thing as "nothing left to draw" If you can down 10 pints and draw, you're doing alright by my standards

"Howdy John,

I have just spent the last 3 hours trying to find your S-Class drawings. I'm sure I had them somewhere - I drew the badge for Sabre after all.

Could you please send me a set of the drawings thanks.

They do not seem to have ever been uploaded to 'Real Life' Main Archive.

Your S-Class thread drawings have disappeared. (The dreaded black cross in a box)

Regards
Nigel"
Will try to unMajhost them on first page.

Tanks John,

Don't forget to add them to the next upload session to the main archive.

There is another upload session to go Gollevainen?

I'll reckon you had some source for the mentioned badge. I'm asking because I can only find evidence for a newer badge, which for sure wasn't used by the S class HMS Sabre. The shape of the badge is correct, therefore my guess is, you have seen it somewhere?

Bombhead wrote:This might help JSB. Yhe only problem being as you see the date of issue was 1971. There wasn't an official badge released for the earlier ship.

There is an unofficial badge that is more likely to have been used at the time.

I drew the badge from the two unofficial badges shown in Bombheads post.

We did have a discussion about the badge on page 1 and 2 with Bombhead.

I am not sure if you took the badge to place it in the COA Archive or not.

I see. I haven''t uploaded the badge, and it will not in the current shape. If you alter it to the round shape with the shippy crown inside and the fill colour as white, it will be uploaded in the CoA thread for unofficial badges before 1920 :D
