A picture looking over our front paddock at a smoke plume from a fire racing through the back of Hastings, that day, on our land, we were seeing the mercury rise to 42.5 degrees Celsius and 70kph gusts, so the fire really took off, luckily for us the wind was forcing the fire into a swamp were it stalled as a cool change brought it to a halt. Who said white Christmases were overrated ?

There's no such thing as "nothing left to draw" If you can down 10 pints and draw, you're doing alright by my standards

Remember the all-electric destroyer design I posted a couple of years ago? A colleague produced a script to turn the CAD models into models; laser cut model of a laser armed ship!

Il tempo Gigante... where one speedometer goes from 0 to 150 km/h and the second one take over and continue all the way up to 380 km/h!
Engine 1. 7,6 liters V8 Chevrolet 454 BigBlock around 540hp.
Engine 2. mounted in rear, a turbine with unknown power. (some say 500 other say 800 hp). the turbine is not allowed to be started due to sound regulation. But the V8... holy shit! but sadly it is so noisy, that it's only allowed to drive on special occasion, or arrangement.

This is my type of Hero.
While there is hurricane (or just a very storm, called "Ole!"), he just went out to relax in his bathtub!
