Re: Republika ng Pilipinas AU
"speed: 270 kts"
What's the fuel consumption at that speed?
(Obviously a Post-Christmas typo.)

The aircraft carrier BRP Luzon is the flagship of the Philippine Navy and is the largest and most advanced warship operated by a Southeast Asian country. BRP Luzon uses a STOBAR design where Sea Gripens are launched by means of a ski-jump and are recovered with arresting gear. In addition to the Sea Gripens BRP Luzon also carries AgustaWestland AW101 helicopters, primarily in an ASW configuration although AEW versions are also embarked. Other helicopters of the Philippine Navy such as the AgustaWestland SuperLynx 300 and NHIndustries NH90TTH could be embarked as well. BRP Luzon operates in a battle group composed of, aside from the carrier, 1-2x Jose Rizal Class DDG's, 2-3x Emilio Jacinto Class FFG's, 1x Bangus Class SSK and 1x Manobo Class AOR. The BRP Luzon and her CVBG are regular participants in RIMPAC and some other exercises since her commissioning in 2011.
Yay, first ship for 2015

Philippine Naval Avation
Re: Republika ng Pilipinas AU
Nice.
Although that ATR-72 tanker... I suppose it would be smallest non-carrier-based aircraft refuelling aircraft and I'm not sure if it's capacity would be practical (that is: significantly better than just using buddy-buddy packs).

Re: Republika ng Pilipinas AU
It's not a tanker, its a cargo aircraft that can also be converted into an unarmed MPA to complement the ATR 72ASW.
Re: Republika ng Pilipinas AU
Ok, but above it stands "transport & air refueling aircraft" - and it's the only aircraft in this section, hence my assumption.
