Another gem :D Novice, me old mucker; I've got an old Matlow who served on the Carlisle, and the Hunt II HMS Beaufort. I've done the Hunt (and the Norwegian version) for him, but if you either a) do the Carlisle for him, or b) let me do it, I reckon it will really thrill him. Let me know :)

have had one Visit to Caroline in 1990's picking up my troop from a trip to Isle of Man on HMS Helford

looking at the numbers of vessels from thease cruiser classes that were scrapped interwar I wonder if under different economic conditions could they have been converted to Large destroyers.
