West Midlands is not a place I have ever been, Maybe London would suit you better mate. Have you got a job yet ?

Sandwell is very green! Especially compared to some of the boroughs in the country! The further away from Tipton and the associated areas you head the better

I suppose that London would be to big for me, and certainly it would be too expensive. Don't have a job yet, but it's only a second "full" workday (non-weekend, and not counting day of arrival itself) since I'm here, so I guess it's not a reason to panic yet.

When judging the "beautifullness" of a city, besides the amount of green areas it's also a matter of architecture.
That's centre of West Bromwich, UK:
