Neat concept indeed. Makes sense to find some use for those hulls even if it's only for training more than anything else.

I have finally finished the ten year period for the Texas Armed Forces, covering the years 1926-1935. This segment took a while (I was deployed to Afghanistan for most of last year and took a break from Shipbucket when I got back to publish a book) but I'm glad it's done. As is the custom, here is the Texas Navy from 1926-35:

Not shown are ships that were scrapped or auxiliaries. Ships that are laid up in reserve are listed by name.

The next ten years cover 1936 to 1945...I can promise it will be interesting.

Nicely done redhorse, especially the last couple of posts, I too particularly like the whole fleet in one drawing that you do. I don't think it's cool to post those FD aircraft with the crediting removed though. :roll:
