Re: FD AU 2
Great drawings.
I just think - I guess Gollevainen could correct me if I'm wrong - that considering chronological relations, the Finnish one would rather have roundel instead of swastika.

Blimey he's turned the ugly duckling F14C into something quite beautiful! Nice work Darth (and the XP-72s too!)

Re: FD AU 2
whats the timeframe? the swastikas were replaced after the armstrice in fall of 1944 and the yellow barbarossa-band was replaced even before IRC.I guess Gollevainen could correct me if I'm wrong - that considering chronological relations, the Finnish one would rather have roundel instead of swastika
Otherwise these are quite magnificent drawings.
Re: FD AU 2
P-72 had a first flight in winter 1944, so before it would reach production and be delivered for export, I guess it would be already past the Finland-USSR armistice. Besides, markings of Netherlands, Norway and South Africa (not mentioning Germany) imply post-war era.

Oooooo. . . But I like that scheme so much, what is a typical post war/early cold war scheme for the Finnish Air Force?Gollevainen wrote:whats the timeframe? the swastikas were replaced after the armstrice in fall of 1944 and the yellow barbarossa-band was replaced even before IRC.I guess Gollevainen could correct me if I'm wrong - that considering chronological relations, the Finnish one would rather have roundel instead of swastika
