A Bit of a What-if for an AU, as I'm not sure if Fairchild-Dornier survives here:

Hello again!
No matter in which AU Fairchild-Dornier survives - here are the proposed short and long versions of the Fairchild Dornier 728jet series:
They will shortly appear on Thiarian Wings; suppose a Thiarian company just waited till Fairchild-Dornier went down the pipes, then bought the prototypes and plans at a discount price at the auction and set up full production at no development cost, that having been paid by the dumb Germans...
