Re: HMCS Annapolis - 1996
I have added my own modifications to your splendid drawing. I hope this helps to correct some of the flaws I discovered.

What exactly have you changed? I see some really poor shading and an anti-aliased "CANADA" on the side of the ship. I'm no expert but I think BCRenown's original was fine.
BTW what does "S/F Tagger sends" mean?

Re: HMCS Annapolis - 1996
He mucked up the masts(compared to SB standard) and added wiring, along with some antennaes. I have a feeling he didn't even bother asking BCRenown for permission.

and since you are a new member you should post in the beginner topic, and not here. We have an system here at this forum that an combination of the administrator, moderator and us high end drawer will inform you that you are ready to post in any topic... The beginner topic is there most for telling us to relax... it's just his first or second drawing... even I had to go trough there, and after posting around 10 vessels... I was allowed to move on.

I have removed the drawing, preferring to keep it for my personal files than to distribute it on this forum to absurd contempt.

Re: HMCS Annapolis - 1996
I'm finally done with my HMCS Annapolis drawing. I've made numerous changes, mostly subtle ones. The forward sheer line proved to be the most challenging as was the lattice mast. I'm still not sure about the colours which look about right on my screen but not so on my son's. I guess there's not a lot I can do about that. For better or for worse, HMCS Annapolis:

A delightful drawing. The way you've captured the shape and curvature of the pilothouse and bow is really excellent.

I am not certain about all the double black lines in the mast, though.
the air search radar might benefit from some additional detail.
wasn't the surface search an SPS-10? as I see you have drawn an new one for that, did it have an different antenna then the USN version? same goes for the Mk 32 SVTT.
could we get the director as separate part?
other then those points, very nice work.

I ask of you to prove me wrong. Not say I am wrong, but prove it, because then I will have learned something new.

Thanks for your kind comment, Gents.
acelancelot,
I had a new mast stashed away and completely forgot about adding it
The SPS-10 in the "parts dept" is not the way I see it, although I maybe using an oder version. The radar and director were drawn from very good photos and I stand by them - for now at least.
