Re: Type-17 Admiral Mulich Class Guided Missile Frigate
Not a bad start IMHO. I assume you were heavily inspired by Golly's Project 22350 frigate? The proportions are fairly specific. I can't comment much on the overall layout, not being much versed in naval design as such, except to say that the upper hull might require some attention. The ship looks ...

Re: Australian Defence Force (Navy) AU
Excellent work all along, sorry for chiming in that late.
These ships are excellent realistic designs, masterfully executed with a level of detail probably beyond compare among contemporary fictional designs.
Keep up the great job, I'm really looking forward for more of these!

Re: Soviet Century/Cold War 2020 AU - Pr.1701
Pr.1701 An exceptional high point in Soviet international cooperation in the field of naval development, the Project 1701 frigate was born of the confluence of several unanticipated factors. While resources were poured into catching up with NATO in the fields of naval air, submarines and heavy ...

Re: Russian Project 1166 Gepard frigate - early variants
Hello, I've found this site when searching for elevation views of Vietnamese Gepard class ships. Your drawings are fantastic, and I intend to draw a 3d model based on them. Do you have drawings of top & front views of these ships? Thanks you very much! Hello and thanks for the interest, I'll have ...

Here's the next part, some more Soviet submarine weapons.
Slightly more legacy IRL types in this one.

Re: Soviet Century/Cold War 2020 AU
Designing a wire feed for a supercavitating rocket torpedo would be quite an engineering challenge ;) Yup, that's kind of the point ;) Please note that the -14 in the designation is no coincidence, but the mark of a good 30 years of steady design work to build up on the Shkval... I have semi ...

Re: Long time no see!
Stealth aside (I'll let those more knowledgeable than me field that one), some basic layout points in no particular order: - That's way too many VLS cells indeed. Well, if you only have one row, your ship would carry the same loadout as a Ticonderoga cruiser, but that would only make sense if your ...

And here is a little something for all of you waiting for more technical details. I'm starting the weapons sheets where they have first being requested, on the 400mm torpedoes for the coastal submarines. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/ms6aikuxdfth44n/CWM_weapons_USSR_400mm_TLT.png?dl=0 More to ...

Re: Soviet Century/Cold War 2020 AU
That's right, I had written down the BPS-500 with 4 Uran launchers for some reason, should have checked at least one actual picture before speaking nonsense like that .
That being said, IRL example show indeed that 16 Urans on a 500-ton MRK/BRKA is feasible.

Re: Soviet Century/Cold War 2020 AU
Lovely work, 16 Kh-35s on the Project 2034 surely pack a punch. :) The placement of the MR-123 Bass Tilt on the mainmast of 2034.1 looks interesting. Thanks! As Odysseus mentioned, 16 Urans happened IRL on upgraded Nanuchka and Tarantul corvettes, as well as the BPS-500 built in Vietnam, all of ...
