Re: I've got a few questions about starting an AU.

My laptop just bit the dust, so that means some major setbacks for starting an AU, unless I can somehow revive it.
Not because I had anything Shipbucket-related on there that was super-important, but there was some life stuff on there that was.
God, I hate MacBooks.

Re: I've got a few questions about starting an AU.

Oh, how great it is to be part of the Shipbucket community.

I'm just wondering what all I have to do, and do I have to draw all my own stuff or can I modify other people's drawings (with credit, of course)?
If it's the former, God help us all.

Re: Do YOU know this Yugoslavian admiral?

Okay, I've got some information on him, but I was wondering if anyone knew what ships were under his command.

Do YOU know this Yugoslavian admiral?

So, my best friend is Croatian, and she mentioned in passing that her great-grandfather was an admiral in the Yugoslavian navy. I inquired further, and she said she actually didn't know that much about him, other than that his name was Viktor Wickerhauser, and that he was an admiral. I offered to do ...

Re: Could anybody tell me what model of shotgun this is?

Yeah, the Model 50 looks right.
As a follow-up question, would tactical accessories for the later Winchester models still be compatible with the Model 50, and would I be able to fire the Model 50 using modern shells?

Re: Could anybody tell me what model of shotgun this is?

Looked on the Wikipedia page, I think it might be a Model 50.

No, not quite right.
There's a "button" under the bolt on mine, and I don't see it on the 1400.
Close, though.

Could anybody tell me what model of shotgun this is?

Hey, I was looking around in my basement, and I found my (dearly departed) grandfather's shotgun. It's a Winchester, I know that. (It says Winchester on the stock, so I think it's a safe guess.) I'm guessing it's a 12-gauge, but I'm not positive, and I'm not really sure how to tell without ...
